Take a close look at this skirt.  Notice the hand stitching throughout the skirt’s fabric. It must have taken the sewist hours to complete. She’s a beauty.

Colors include black, shades of blue, green, pink, yellow, red, and orange.

The Adelaar Blouse Company was founded in Chicago in 1934 by brothers Emil, Maurice, and Bernard Adelaar. The company re-located to New York in 1945. They also made skirts, dresses, and other separates.

Condition is very good with one area where the inside quilting is a little worn. (see photo).
